The
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has advised the state governor,
Engr. Rauf Aregbesola to conduct local government elections without further
delay.
Aregbesola
The
party’s spokesman, Prince Diran Odeyemi, noted that the last local government
poll in the state was conducted by a PDP-led government in 2007.
The
party also advised the governor to immediately appoint commissioners who will
be running activities of state ministries.
PDP
lamented that there was no development in the local government areas and that
the ministries have been dormant over the last one year that Aregbesola was
re-elected.
Odeyemi
accused the governor of appointing his party men and gave them the title of
executive secretaries (ES) and retained them in office.
